<p>Sensirion is adding the SHT4xA high-reliability relative humidity and temperature sensor platform for automotive applications to its 4th-generation humidity sensing series. The SHT4xA offers different accuracy gradings and I<sup>2</sup>C or pulse-width modulation interfaces. The optional wettable flanks enable automated optical inspection of the robust DFN housing. The AEC Q100 qualification demonstrates the SHT4xA’s superior reliability, making it perfectly suitable for automotive applications. In addition, the included power heater enables advanced self-diagnosis capability of the chip over its entire lifetime. Thanks to the comprehensive SHT4xA portfolio, automotive manufacturers can choose the perfect size for their specific use case. Based on Sensirion’s proven CMOSens ® Technology and longstanding experience in humidity sensing, the SHT4xA ensures the highest precision. It has been specifically designed for automotive applications and fulfills demanding reliability requirements, such as 85°C/85%RH accelerated life tests and AEC Q100 qualification.</p>
