The modern production facility, featuring highly classified cleanrooms for the semiconductor industry, will be built on Laubisrütistrasse over the next two and a half years. This project, together with the acquisition of land at Moritzberg for an additional office building, underscores the long-term commitment of the sensor manufacturer to its Stäfa site and secures more than 800 jobs in the region.

The first half of the year closed with sales of CHF 184.5 million. This represents an organic revenue increase of 45.5% in local currencies and 44.2% in Swiss francs compared to the same period last year. This growth was driven mainly by the continued ramp-up of A2L leakage sensors for air conditioning systems in the US, as well as increased demand for environmental sensors from China and the broad distribution network. This resulted in substantial year-on-year growth of over 50% in three of our four end markets. At 51.5%, the gross margin is significantly higher than in the same period of the previous year. The EBITDA margin increased significantly to 19.8%.

Sensirion is reaffirming the forecast for the 2025 financial year, but is narrowing the revenue guidance symmetrically: assuming stable economic conditions, the company now expects consolidated revenue of CHF 320 to 340 million.

Sensirion Connected Solutions, a subsidiary of Sensirion Holding AG specializing in sensor-based IoT solutions and services for emissions monitoring, announced the acquisition of Kuva Systems, a Cambridge-based innovator in image-based methane emissions monitoring. The company will be integrated into Sensirion Connected Solutions, strengthening its position as a full-spectrum provider for continuous methane emissions monitoring in oil and gas applications.

At the annual general meeting on May 12, 2025, in Rapperswil-Jona, the shareholders of Sensirion Holding AG were informed about the results of the Sensirion group for the financial year 2024, which saw strong sales growth thanks to new business in a continuing challenging environment. The shareholders approved all proposals of the Board of Directors.
