If you are interested in an internship with us, your first step is to apply via our online tool. We care about the person behind an application. That's why we read every application personally and give you initial feedback within two weeks.
What happens next?
After receiving positive feedback, we will schedule an initial online interview with your direct supervisor. If successful, you’ll be invited to meet us in person at our offices, where you’ll have an interview with your lead and a member of the People & Culture team. You will also receive a short task ahead of your on-site interview that you can prepare at home and present during the interview. If you live farther away, we are happy to arrange this meeting remotely instead. If this stage also goes well, we will get back to you within the following days to discuss the next steps.
A compelling résumé is an important first step for us. You also have the option to express your motivation in a few sentences in a text field—or surprise us with a video. Shape your application to be as individual and enthusiastic as you are. Show us why you’re a great fit for Sensirion and what talents you bring to the table.
In the interview, be authentic and honest, show genuine interest, and answer our questions openly and clearly. Feel free to ask us questions as well—this shows that you’ve actively engaged with the role. This mutual exchange helps us determine whether we’re the right match for each other and lays the foundation for a successful collaboration.
We employ motivated professionals and managers from a variety of academic and professional backgrounds. What they all have in common are their finely honed soft skills: Initiative, curiosity, communication and teamwork skills are at the heart of our work.
We also expect our interns to work independently on small projects and contribute proactively. We are the ideal environment for your first experience in the industry: with us, you can make a difference with your ideas.
Our employees are the key to our success. After you have gained initial experience during your internship and have been able to make a successful contribution to projects, your internship can be extended by 1-2 months if there is mutual interest.
Another option is employment as a working student on an hourly basis (depending on our needs and your capacity). If you are interested, please register in our student pool.
Once a contract is signed, we will stay in touch with you until you start work, providing you with all the relevant information.
On your first day at work, we will welcome you along with all other new employees, introduce you to Sensirion and show you around our campus. This includes a tour of our production facilities. You’ll have lunch with your lead and the team, and of course there will be time to set up your workspace and get an initial overview.
You can expect the following entry-level salaries with us:
High-school graduate - CHF 2,000
Bachelor´s student - CHF 3,000
Bachelor´s graduate - CHF 3,500
Master´s graduate - CHF 3,800
