Our Teams

Operations

Ensuring the smooth production of our high-volume sensors as well as collecting, evaluating, monitoring and documenting measurement data from the production process. Or being responsible for the selection, development, and support of suppliers on the basis of defined technical and economic factors. These are just a few things you would be responsible for – as a member of our operations team your tasks are very diverse and important for the company’s success.

Job profiles

Program managers take on product responsibility for our market-leading high-tech products. As well as preparation and execution of large-scale ramp-ups, you will oversee mass production of very high volume semiconductor sensors. You will work closely with development, production, marketing and sales, in order to continuously improve current products. At Sensirion, you will have the opportunity to make an active contribution to the continuous enhancement of our structures, tools and workflows.

As a supply chain planner, you will apply specialist expertise to the management of all interaction between development, supply chain and production. You will be responsible for the monthly creation of sales and operations plans for each product area, and for volume planning and management for service providers related to production.

You will develop our supply chain planning and control processes, and maintain our materials master data in the ERP and MES system. Throughout all these activities, you will maintain close contact with the sales and marketing, order processing, purchasing, logistics and production departments.

Strategic purchasing specialists deal with the various categories of materials required for the development and production of our sensors, working to the highest commercial and technical specifications. You procure materials and are responsible for strategic planning and contract and price negotiations.

You will select, develop and support suppliers on the basis of defined technical and economic factors, and maintain a constant overview of trends in national and international markets. Additionally, you will support the optimization of purchasing processes and the on-going minimization of the total cost of ownership (TCO).

As an equipment specialist, you are responsible for the continual maximization and optimization of equipment availability. You will also work, as part of a continuous improvement process (CIP), to ensure that the production equipment is maintained in a serviceable condition.

You will independently plan, implement and document maintenance, calibration and repair work, and oversee the installation and commissioning of new production equipment. Additionally, you will be a point of contact for external suppliers and service technicians for various technical issues.

What motivates me most about program management is bringing people and ideas together. When a team works towards one goal and things start falling into place, that’s the best feeling.
