The SLD3P series is our new generation of digital liquid flow sensors designed to combine accurate flow measurement, miniature size, and compatibility with several therapies. These features make it the ideal solution for medical devices manufactured in large quantities, where an accurate, disposable liquid flow sensor is required. Such medical devices include drug delivery patches and insulin pumps . While flow measurement is at the heart of the SLD3P, it also provides a stream of diagnostic data that can be used to detect occlusions, identify in-line air bubbles, flag up pump malfunctions and measure liquid temperature.
The SLD3P platform is available in several variants with different maximum flow rates up to 5 ml/min. All sensors feature a miniature footprint, making them ideal for compact mechanical integration on a manifold.
