Sharp Corporation, a leading provider of electronic products and air conditioning solutions, has recently launched its innovative R-X series, the industry's only aircon equipped with a CO₂ sensor. With this new feature, customers can breathe clean and healthy air while enjoying a comfortable indoor environment. The company relies on Sensirion's miniature CO₂ sensor for accurate measurements.

The Terabee Air Quality SB5 accurately measures the environment indoors. It relies on Sensirion environmental sensors, for guaranteed stability and automatic recalibration during the life of the device. 

Weak demand from end consumers, combined with ongoing inventory reduction and the removal of last year’s one-off business, resulted in sales declining by 25.2% compared to the previous year. This decline is solely attributable to reduced demand volume; no customers or ongoing projects were lost. The medium and long-term outlook remains positive. Sensirion thus continues to expand the R&D capacities to enable important product launches in new applications in 2024 and 2025. Consolidated sales amounted to CHF 123.2 million. The gross margin was stable at 56.3%, and the EBITDA margin was 8.7%.

Sensirion AG has successfully sued a competitor for infringement of one of its patents covering particulate matter sensors. With the decision dated 07/25/2023, Düsseldorf District Court determined that certain particulate matter sensors of the Chinese manufacturer Cubic Sensor and Instrument Co., Ltd based in Wuhan infringe Sensirion’s patent EP 2 145 171.
