With this new feature, customers can breathe clean and healthy air while enjoying a comfortable indoor environment. The company relies on Sensirion's miniature CO₂ sensor for accurate measurements.

The Terabee Air Quality SB5 accurately measures the environment indoors. It relies on Sensirion environmental sensors, for guaranteed stability and automatic recalibration during the life of the device. 

Recently, LCSC has formally established a partnership with Sensirion, a well-known developer and manufacturer of sensor solutions. The collaboration aims to provide better solutions to customers through Sensirion's high-quality products and LCSC's convenient one-stop component procurement service resources.

Weak demand from end consumers, combined with ongoing inventory reduction and the removal of last year’s one-off business, resulted in sales declining by 25.2% compared to the previous year. This decline is solely attributable to reduced demand volume; no customers or ongoing projects were lost. The medium and long-term outlook remains positive. Sensirion thus continues to expand the R&D capacities to enable important product launches in new applications in 2024 and 2025. Consolidated sales amounted to CHF 123.2 million. The gross margin was stable at 56.3%, and the EBITDA margin was 8.7%.

Sensirion AG has successfully sued a competitor for infringement of one of its patents covering particulate matter sensors. With the decision dated 07/25/2023, Düsseldorf District Court determined that certain particulate matter sensors of the Chinese manufacturer Cubic Sensor and Instrument Co., Ltd based in Wuhan infringe Sensirion’s patent EP 2 145 171.

With the complexity of measuring IAQ parameters like formaldehyde, humidity, temperature, particulate matter, and more, integrating multiple sensors becomes time-consuming and resource intensive. But it no longer has to be with SEN6x – an environmental sensing platform that combines all essential sensors into one compact module.

Sensirion is adjusting its outlook for the 2023 financial year due to the challenging market environment. For the current financial year, we now expect sales of CHF 235–255 million (previously CHF 300–340 million) and an EBITDA margin of approx. 10% (previously approx. 20%). The expectation for the gross margin remains unchanged in the mid-fifties. The first half of the year closed with sales of around CHF 123 million. The medium and long-term outlook remains positive due to a strong pipeline of new business and supporting megatrends.

A space with low CO₂ and fresh air represents adequate airflow, which effectively improves work and study efficiency and reduces the risk of fatigue, headaches, and drowsiness.
