Arne and Hugo began their internships at Sensirion after attending Sensirion Students TechDay. There they had the opportunity to work with experienced engineers on the development of new sensor ideas. With the company tour and networking reception, the two students got to know Sensirion and its employees better. Now they are doing their six-month internship. Watch the video here to get more insights.
Why did you decide to do an internship at Sensirion?
Arne: At the Sensirion Students TechDay, which I attended during my 6th semester at university, I got to know Sensirion and the way things work around here. The day was a lot of fun, so I applied for the internship.
Hugo: For my master studies I have to complete a three month internship. But it is also a good opportunity for me to take a look at an industrial company and gain a basis for deepening the knowledge in my further studies.
How have you experienced the teamwork at Sensirion so far?
Arne: My team is incredibly nice and there is also a regular exchange with the interns. It's great that there are so many of them here and that we can organize an event together.
Hugo: Since I've only been here for a short time, I've mainly worked with the closest team. However, they are very friendly and helpful to give me a quick introduction.
Sensirion once began as a start-up. Could you imagine starting your own business?
Arne: The internship is my first real work experience. So I think it's too early to assess without a point of comparison. Maybe if I have a great idea at some point.
Hugo: Possibly. But not at the moment. I like working here in an industrial company and gaining as much experience as possible.
