The day kicked off with a little game offering the opportunity for everyone to talk more about themselves and get to know the new apprentices, who are studying a wide range of trades. After everyone introduced themselves, the apprentices were given an initial challenge. Using paper, cardboard, tape and string, the objective was to ensure an egg dropped from a height of three meters stayed intact. The apprentices tackled the task with great enthusiasm as their ideas took shape and they built the structures from their excellent designs. Because each group did such a great job executing their ideas, not a single egg was damaged.
After having lunch together, they moved on to the creative, colorful part of the day – graffiti. With the help of a pro, the apprentices gave the wall in the ping-pong room a new look. While one group was busy spraying up a storm, the other showed off their pantomime and explanatory skills during a variety of activity games.
These fantastic activities and shared experiences helped the new apprentices bond quickly with the other apprentices.
