The apprentice camp 2022 was recently held in Nyon. Over the course of a week, the more than 20 apprentices and vocational trainers had the opportunity to get involved and carry out various forestry tasks, such as building a forest path or felling trees. The apprentice camp offered apprentices the chance to get a break from their normal working days, do something useful and rewarding, and strengthen the cohesion within the group.

A hard day’s work was always followed by a special dinner, usually with dessert. There were also various evening programs, such as a quiz night, improv theater, informative conversations with the foresters and wine tastings.

We learned a lot and had a good time doing it. The takeaway for all of us is that we’ll appreciate our office work more.
